The Mobile Lipid Clinic is a software innovation that allows physicians to
assess patients with lipid disorders on the spot. These free computer programs
run on both Palm and Windows operating systems and
were developed by Scientific Software Tools, Inc.
With this application, you can enter a patient's medical history, test results,
and physical data by simply clicking your mouse or tapping your Palm. Once these
data have been entered, the Mobile Lipid Clinic automatically calculates your
patient's treatment goals. These programs implement the guidelines of the
National Cholesterol Education Program (NCEP ATP III).
